A model aftermarket radiators

Hey everyone. First time posting on the forum. Has anyone tried these aftermarket rads? I'm on the market for one for my 12. Mine got crushed. Curious as to what yall have to say. I see tjese adds that say "26mm!! Reduces temps by 40%!!!". My core is 30mm. My bike gets hot in traffic. The normal 12R, big bore cooling issues. Whats the best rad on the market for the ole girl? I bought the green monster in 2014 with 795 miles. Found it in the corner of a garage. The 2000 ZX12R in green was a dream bike of mine. So I bought it. Been running engine ice ever since. I'm just looking for a quality rad that might have better cooling effects over stock.

I bought this aftermarket radiator. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminium-M...cAAOSwhEhcVHYF
Company that sells these radiators is located in the UK. The radiator is most likely made in China. The radiator is well made, fitment is good. The ONLY issue is that the mounting tabs for both horns are welded on, on the wrong side of the radiator. A little annoying but not that big of an issue really, I just had to make two "spacers" , used aluminium tubing.

I also bought a new set of radiator hoses, also a UK shop.. Great deals from AS3 Performance on zx12r | eBay Stores Sadly they dont seem to have the hoses in black any more....

I have ridden my bike after I installed the new radiator and hoses, no issues what so ever....

Hope this helps..

/Tom

I've just bought one from the same supplier, although mine is a twin fan B model. I'll be fitting it in the coming weeks, will post my findings & thoughts in this thread.

I know your old one looks rough, but it might be repairable - there are companies that repair damaged motocross radiators like you wouldn't believe- here in the UK it's GMX Radiators in Essex. Worth considering...

Thank you everyone for your input. Been super busy with Dunlop/Motoamerica. I picked up a "good" used one to pressure test and see if there's any internal damage. I will be looking at ways to make her run cooler. Thanks again gusy
