I opened my bike and my 30 amp fuse has again blown . so I replaced the fuse got my power back hit the start button and bang lost it all again blown the same fuse any one ever been threw this ?? This happened to my bike about 3 years ago, riding along when the bike died, 30amp fuse blew. Traced back to the RR, which was cooked after the stator had stuffed up.
My fix is posted in one of the stickies - basically got a rewired stator and Mosfet RR. Fixed the problem for a couple of years till the stator gave up again and was re-rewired!
Some of these 12's seem to suffer the dreaded electrical gremlins more than others!

Does that mean its an A2? just want to be sure before I look at the different wiring diagrams, and is it a United States bike?

Replace the fuse disconnect the regulator and does it blow the fuse again?

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters and Country are more useful than saying the year, for UK owners anyway, as registration year is not always the year of manufacturer model.
