A1 PC-V map
Anyone have an A1 or any year for that matter that you have either had dyno tuned or you are using Autotune, for the Dynojet PCV?
I have Autotune and it is a miracle for these. However, I am running 13.0 AFR across the map except at WOT range and I have that 12.8.
The map I have now, Autotune has subtracted about -20 to -35 In a lot of ranges and added to the midrange.
It runs great, but I can't believe the factory maps are that rich. It must have been 11.1 across the board. Would love to see the map Muzzy used in their Maxton test.
I sold my 12, but I did have a dynotune. I have attached a tab delimited text file with my map.
I had a full muzzy exhaust at the time of dyno tuning.

Im waiting for the PC v and wideband 2 to turn up. When i changed the end can i noticed the tick over rose by 2-300 rpm. The cat is still in the end of the of the exhaust. I know most engines with a cat run rich so as to not burn the cat out which will happen if you run a lean mixture. I will possibly run a lean mixture, 15-15.5, on a cruse in top at 50 and 70 (ish) mph. Ill have to see what difference it makes.
You would be absolutely crazy to run that lean of an AFR at any speed. These bikes were made to use lots of fuel. I wouldn't go any leaner than 13.8.
No I didn't actually. I have an autotune and it is working fantastic. Your map looks fine on the bottom end, but doesn't seem to address the mid and top range. I am going strictly by the autotune with those comments. Not saying it didn't work for you, Your map helped me keep an eye on the autotune.

AFR 14.7 is the stoichiometric ratio for petrol , where fuel burn is the best. Too rich and you'll get bore wash as the fuel dont burn just dilutes the oil in the cylinder.
I heard these engine like the fuel but one of the main reasons for running a rich mixture it to keep the exhaust gasses cool enough not to burn out the cat.
Still fitted the PC5 today have to wait a while to get the sensor in the exhaust and remove the air injection.( any tips for the removal)
These bikes came from the factory anywhere from 11 to 12 AFR. Remember, Muzzy ran 199 on a stock map. So they do like fuel.
I would be happy to email you my map. I get 36 MPG and the power is outstanding.
Here are pics of where I mounted my O2 sensor.
I did look at putting the sensor there but i wants sure
a) how far the swinging arm came down
b) how much spray would hit it from the back wheel
c) On a stock exhaust this is on the seam.
How did you get around blanking of the air injection. I was looking at making some plates the same size as the Air Suction Valve Cover.
You can buy block off plates for around 30 dollars. Easier than making them.
Swingarm travel isn't an issue and doesn't interfere with the sensor at all. Where the O2 sensor is mounted, the swingarm doesn't travel up and down.
The mounting point is in the bend of my pipe as well. I chose the spot and drilled it myself with a step bit. Then took it to a welding shop and had the bung tig welded in.
I can tell you the work up front is a bit of a pain, but it is well worth it. Bike runs fantastic. I have a full akrapovic system and had a bit of surging at 2-3000 rpm. That is totally gone. The autotune makes adjustments fast too.
Oh and spray from back wheel is negligent. I don't ride in the rain, but if I did I would have mounted it in the same place. There aren't too many more places to mount it. It is tight under the fairing.
Finally fitted the Power commander and wideband.
I was amazed how rich it ran AFR 12 at tick over. I noticed ages ago that when accelerating it would pull then just as you let the throttle off it would pull that little bit harder.
The AFR gauge showed what happened it ran 13.2 then as you let the throttle off it went to 12.7
It needs a session on the dyno to get the most out of it.
Has anyone got any ZX12 AFR maps from a dyno session.
