no low beam, 99 zx9r c2

Any ideas, today my low beam stopped working, the high beam, and parking light still work, so i put a new bulb, but still the same problem, checked the new bulb, and it works fine, thanks in advance !!

Strip and clean the hi low switching unit.

Here is a guide for a z750s one which is more complex only small differences.

For Tech Questions Bike Model letters and Country are more useful than saying the year, for UK owners anyway, as registration year is not always the year of manufacturer model.

stripped and cleaned the switch, covered the contacts with dielectric grease, still no low beam, thinking it might be the headlight relay !!

Headlight relay is attached to the front of the battery tray, the other relay with an orange wire is the indicator relay. I donít think it will be the relay as the headlight is coming on, more likely a wiring problem too or from the switch you have just cleaned. You will have to chase down where the voltage stops.
