Hello all.
A friend of mine bought an '06 about a year ago which had about 2,000 miles on it. A few months ago he told me it started bucking/jerking at around 9000 rpm. He didn't bother looking into it because he seldomly rides at such a high rpm.
Now he says its starting to do it at 6000 rpm and the "fuel injection" signal is now coming on..
He said he changed out the fuel filter as well as the fuel pump and it still does it.
He doesn't have internet access and this is the only Kawi site I know of. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what could be causing this so I can let him know.
The only thing done to the bike was the catalytic converter was removed.
