I'm glad you had a good time out here. You did exactly as I expected, which is extremely well for your first 9/10th's event.

193.9mph in the 9/10th's (Nitrous Pass)

I know it's not what you run at Maxton, but I hope now you and others can see how a 203mph MAXTON bike translates into a 194mph 9/10th's bike.

If I can say anything about Shiphteey and his ride, it's that they BOTH have a LOT of potential. With the right set-up and tuning along with practice... I'm sure Shiphteey could go a lot faster.

To comment the runs, you need to understand that Deezuhl's bike was down 4mph from normal. That's about 12 bikelengths! The Kawi Race ECU took a shit and causing the bike to run at 11.7:1 A/F. That's what TURBO bikes run. Mike (Deezuhl) is a good rider on a FAST bike, he normally goes 194mph N/A which means that if the bike was running normal... He would have beaten you pretty good on MOTOR vs YOUR NITROUS. Not bad for a 250lb guy with 185rwhp vs 120lb guy with 215rwhp, wouldn't you say?

Either way, had my bike been ready, you would have lost against my motor vs your spray on sunday. 8)

On a personal note, Ali, you're a cool guy! Next time you come down, make sure you have some time to grab a few beers!!! I don't know how you do all that traveling and racing on such little sleep. You're the real deal man... you've earned my respect regardless what you ran.

Oh, Aly (the spousal unit) said she's sorry to have not met you..and not to come at 1:45am next time. lol

The tranny is a good idea. I spent over $700 getting my tranny undercut, upgraded c-clip, new 6th gear, and new shiftforks. I won't see any mph from it... but at least I know I'll never pop out of gear, which would suck building a 200rwhp 1287cc motor that can't stay in gear under power.

If Sal goes 205mph on motor with my bike.... that should put me around 200mph on motor at Maxton...... with the juice I'm sure I'll go faster than 202.9mph. =)
In all honesty... I wouldn't be suprised if the bike went 207-208mph N/A with Sal on it at Maxton. In theory, it should go 2-3mph faster than Deezuhl's 10R in the 9/10th's (thanks to the piston kit) so...

I wonder what a little 40 shot on top of 208mph would put me at....

*grin*

One thing's for sure... it's going to be the fastest N/A ZX-12R to run at Maxton.... Will it be the fastest 12R ever at Maxton? Who knows? 218.6mph is what Jim Owen ran right? 8)

I'll tell you this much...

The ACE PERFORMANCE STAGE 2 "Phantom Edition" ZX-12R Package is expensive.... (mostly parts)

If you want to know more... bring your ZX-12R to ACE PERFORMANCE, along with your checkbook.

GOING FAST ISN'T CHEAP BUT IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!
