It'd be hard for anyone to weigh in with anything helpful without seeing the part in question. The ones u show in the vid do help explain what your talking about though. Whatever deal u all made and what was said between u two would for sure be a deciding factor, I can see how it'd be frustrating when trying to get your shit together for a trip and have something not work out the way u planned. However from just this post at least, Perfect99 offering to mail all 3 parts and have u choose which one u want is to me going above and beyond no doubt about it. Especially saying to use the one u bought for the trip than come home choose one and Mail the others back, I mean what more could u ask for. I'd be more than happy with that offer! Most people would say to bad it's used and u roll the dice buying used parts online. I think Perfect99 is being more than reasonable... (From knowing only what I'm seeing on this thread anyway). Good luck you two, cbib try and work with this dude he seems more than willing to make u happy with the purchase, that's way more cooperation than u will ever get buying used online from a private seller.

NONE of your resolutions will help me. As stated before this week was planned around getting these parts and putting the bike back together. I told you about taking time off work to do this before the deal was made. You said "man up" which to me indicated you wanted to settle this "like a man". So I offered to drop the paypal claim and pay half your plane ticket in order to "man up". Here is the bottom line which I fail to see how you just cant comprehend. The parts are damaged, I should have been made aware of that before buying them. PERIOD. I dont care how cheap or good of deal you thought you gave. The decision to buy damaged parts at a discount should be the BUYERS. END OF STORY. I would have paid more to get straight parts. As I said there is a local salvage yard who has the stay for $30 more and the ram air covers for $25 more that are straight.

Him overnighting a straight part at his expense is not unreasonable at all. If he would have sent a straight part to begin with I would have posted that I had good dealings with him. If he would have agreed to overnight the straight part, I would have posted that I had good dealings with him. Does this sound like a more reasonable request? I go rent a motorcycle for the next three days so I can have my vacation that we planned and I send him the bill so he can pay for it. That sound reasonable? Bottom line, you dont sell damaged parts as straight good parts.

The BIGGEST issue with this entire deal is that it was planned around time off work (which the seller knew about) and him knowingly selling damaged parts. I get that he is willing to send a (hopefully) straight stay and if it wasnt for the vacation we are on, that would suffice (even though its still bullshit selling damaged parts.) I DO NOT want a rebent stay on my bike because the integrity is now compromised. Here is the only other offer I am willing to make. IF I can get the stay to bend in place without breaking I would accept him sending a straight stay and $35 so I can purchase the undamaged ram air cover locally. If I cannot get the stay bent into place or it breaks trying to, I will send his damaged parts back to him after receiving a full refund.

You are an idiot really. All you are doing is showing what little character and integrity you have. And you are also letting any person who is willing to buy from you that you have no problem selling damaged parts because you feel they are ok. You also just let everyone know all of your fairing stays are bent when you keep telling me you will send me a straight one. You just said all 4 of yours are different which means at least 3 are bent. You keep saying the ram air covers are your fault and apologizing. Your apology doesn't mean shit. How about some money? I have you a very fair resolution. If I can bend it back for the weekend (and not break it) send me a straight one and $35 so I can buy a good ram air cover that's not broke and you can have this bent one back. If not I will continue the PayPal dispute. You fucked up end of story. I am not wastin my time on this thread any longer. I tried to warn you guys about getting screwed and you can take that as you wish. I have bought and sold hundreds of parts on eBay and other sites and have and would never sell someone a part I wasn't 100% sure was ready to go without disclosing that. It's called integrity. If I even thought something wasn't 100% I would let the buyer know. I have let you know what would make this right. You refused to overnight a straight one that you say you have (but also say they are all different so who knows if you even have a straight one). That would have been the right thing to do. So now I have given 2 other options listed above. You choose and let me know. I'm done here.
