It'd be hard for anyone to weigh in with anything helpful without seeing the part in question. The ones u show in the vid do help explain what your talking about though. Whatever deal u all made and what was said between u two would for sure be a deciding factor, I can see how it'd be frustrating when trying to get your shit together for a trip and have something not work out the way u planned. However from just this post at least, Perfect99 offering to mail all 3 parts and have u choose which one u want is to me going above and beyond no doubt about it. Especially saying to use the one u bought for the trip than come home choose one and Mail the others back, I mean what more could u ask for. I'd be more than happy with that offer! Most people would say to bad it's used and u roll the dice buying used parts online. I think Perfect99 is being more than reasonable... (From knowing only what I'm seeing on this thread anyway). Good luck you two, cbib try and work with this dude he seems more than willing to make u happy with the purchase, that's way more cooperation than u will ever get buying used online from a private seller.

Anyone who's ever bought used shit from eBay or any private seller online knows how it usually goes when it's recieved "not as advertised" I bought a new sight for my bow off a hunting fourm not long ago and got fucked on it. Guy wouldn't even respond to me and I stupidly sent the PayPal as a gift to save the guy fees so I was just plain ol fucked out of $125. This situation between u guys seems very fixable just communicate...

There is a pic of the part in question in another thread. Even though the pics dont show how bad its bent, you can clearly see the damage.

I did see your posted pics but was after I posted on this thread. It is hard to see damage in most pics those things just don't show up well in a picture especially a bend. I hear ya man id be disappointed as well being as your trying to get a bike together for your trip. You'd rather not have to modify smtg to get to work as u claim to not have known you'd have to do so before hand. I totally understand your anger with the whole thing. It just (to me anyway) doesn't seem like Perfect99 is trying to fuck u over he sounds more than resonable with his offers to make it right. Take it or leave it but u have options to get a bunch mailed to u to try out an pick one that'll work, or he'll fully refund u and take the part back. I mean shit man you don't get that kind of an offer from a store most times never mind a private seller. What else would u want the guy to do? Overnighting you a new $400 part on his end doesn't seem like a resonable request. Work with the guy and figure out a resonable solution that'll leave both of u happy with the transaction. Sounds fair right?

The taking time off work part of it sucks for sure. I'm a broke ass myself and get the money part of it but if possible go get the ones from the salvage yard so u can get your shit on the road quickly and relplenish your account with his refund when he sends it. Maybe your quickest solution if don't wanna use his part.

Him overnighting a straight part at his expense is not unreasonable at all. If he would have sent a straight part to begin with I would have posted that I had good dealings with him. If he would have agreed to overnight the straight part, I would have posted that I had good dealings with him. Does this sound like a more reasonable request? I go rent a motorcycle for the next three days so I can have my vacation that we planned and I send him the bill so he can pay for it. That sound reasonable? Bottom line, you dont sell damaged parts as straight good parts.

Gotcha. When u said send a perfect ready to bolt up part thought u meant u wanted him to now go buy a good or new one and overnight it. Makes more sense now. Well this isn't really getting anywhere for either of u bickering back/forth online. hopefully u all can get it worked out without any additional aggravation.
