needless to say i have been here for a while and followed long before that... ive sold to a fair amount of you, and it has always been a pleasant experience and mutually benificial one for everyone involved... UNTIL NOW!! BUM BUM BUM!
so first let me type my side of the story, since in the videos im a little frustrated and get a little sidetracked at times...
so cbibb bought a fairing stay from me and some other parts...
the fairing stay i sent him is slightly bent, by maybe 1-2 cm on the ear or the part the mirror bolts go though...
when chris got in contact with me regarding this issue, he immediately said overnight me a straight one or i will open a pay pal claim.
i answered that if it was bent, it must be minor since i couldnt tell before selling it to him and when comparing to 3 other fairing stays, so i said since its minor im sure u can simply bend it to the correct shape... i have personally had to do this on at least three of the 5 zx-12rs ive had and think its pretty common if u work on 12's or see alot of them u will for sure run across this commical defect... however chris sais i paid for something i thought was ready to go, this isnt... so he was not interested... and continued to threaten opening a pay pal claim.
immediately i see a fellow 12r rider in need and i make him the following offers
1- i go to post office in the morning and mail u (not overnight) any of the fairing stays i have and u can pick which one... FOR FREE!
chris was not interested because he has his vacation planned and needs to ride now... so i made him offer number 2...
2- bend the one i sent u... use it for ur four day vacation, and when u come home u will find a new fairing stay on your doorstep.
again chris is not interested. threatens pay pal claim and sais overnight me a stay or ur done. so i make him offer number three...the best one if u ask me...
3. at this point chris had already posted the watch out for this buyer or else post... so i sais, look u obviousely feel a need to put this on blast on the forum, or have pay pal solve ur issues since u simply will not compromise with me at all... so i sais lets put both our sides on the forum, and open a poll...
if the majority of people agree with chris i offered him to go to the post at the opening bell TOMORROW MORNING and same day him the fairing stay. or overnight it... whatever is available... i would cover shipping and charge him nothing for the part...
if the forum agrees that he should just bend the unobtainable part i sold him for 80 bucks when there are NONE ON EBAY! EXCEPT FOR TWO COMPLETELY BROKEN ONES AND THEY ARE LISTED AT 150!!!!!!!
so if the forum agrees that he should sack up and bend it and admit he still got a killer deal.. then he would drop this shit.
he also refused this offer and opened a pay pal claim.
needless to say i think selling him the GOOD UESEABLE CONDITION (NOT PERFECT OR NEW, I NEVER SAID PERFECT OR NEW! BUT GOOD AND USEABLE HELL YEAH!!!!) FOR 80 DOLLARS WHEN THE BROKEN ONES ARE ASKING DOUBLE!!! WAS STILL A GOOD DEAL FOR HIM...

AT THIS POINT HE HAS MY PARTS. HE HAS OPENED A PAY PAL CLAIM SO HE HAS THE MONEY FOR ALL INTENSIVE PURPOSES, AND HIS DEMAND IS I OVERNIGHT HIM (EXPENSIVE- PROBABLY COST MORE THAN THE LITTLE PROFIT I MADE) A NEW FAIRING STAY (UNOBTAINABLE)
AND DO THIS ALL OUT OF MY POCKET.
i will also add vids shortly that show the parts in question and go more in depth... if you have ten mins and love the 12r.. watch the videos and please weigh in honestly...
