I have a PS-3 on my Bandit 1200 and have had it for 2 years. I have had no problems with it at all, there exspensive, but it's always armed and ready. I even use it during normal riding. Once you get it fine tuned, your home free and that's just a few simple adjustments. The biggest thing is not to have too many bends in the cable. I also removed the oem cable and replaced it with a slightly smaller diameter inside cable for less friction, it worked out very well. I spray 48 hp with no problems with the shifter...... FL :)

I haven't heard of the PS4 shifter, maybe it's a different manufacturer or something. The air or electric shifter is actually easier on your trans and clutch. I'm still running my stock oem clutch with almost 7,000 miles on it with no problems and on synthetic oil. The original PS2 and PS3 electric shifter are made by Dale Walker at HoleShot. Here's a link to his web pages..... FL

I think you have to contact Dale Walker for instructions on the 4 coil hookups. The PS-3 I have is on my Bandit 1200 and it came with the bracket, but I think that's the only bracket that Dale makes for them at this time. I see pictures on his site with busa's and zx-9's that the guys made there own brackets..... FL
