unbelievable.
Fatal crash brings $20 ticket | StarTribune.com

Definition of Manslaughter - The unlawful killing of a human being without malice or premeditation, either express or implied.
I don't care how old the woman was, why is she exempt from a manslaughter/involuntary manslaughter charge?????
Am I missing something here? She crossed the centerline, killed one biker and cost another an amputated foot!
And her penalty is a $20 ticket for crossing the centerline - as if hitting/killling/maiming the bikers never even happened??

Judge prob felt sorry for her in her old age. I for one and not for the elderly after a certain age having a license unless they can properly pass a driving test (same one given to teenagers and everyody else.) In VA, over age 50 I believe are required to take the test on a yearly basis as opposed to the 8 years between test given to people in their prime.

I have almost been clipped several times by elderly persons. Good thing I took the DMV course, that emergency braking came in handy.
