Hi there, hoping that someone can help me. I'm having trouble sorting the clutch on my 2002 ZX12R A2. However I adjust it it seems to slip when the bike is cold, be okay when up to normal running temp and then drag when the bike gets hot in traffic. I've replaced the cable, friction plates (EBC) and springs (EBC heavy duty) and even tried swapping between full synthetic and semi synthetic oils. The steel plates don't appear to be warped and the basket looks fine (no obvious visual distortion). I can't set the adjustment with any slack in the cable at all or it won't even go into gear. Any ideas what could be wrong and what I need to be checking as I'm stumped, thanks Big PJ

As MetalMagician said earlier, have you made sure the pressure plate is aligned correctly with the marker points on the hub? This showed up as the 6 springs did not bed down fully into the pressure plate cover when tightening it down, once aligned the springs sit lower than the pressure plate level - recessed into the hole - if you know what I mean.
Not meaning to suggest you are not competent at all, just re-checking everything. I had done exactly that (not aligned the plate correctly) once, and couldn't work out why the clutch was not working properly. Careful attention to reinstalling the clutch parts made sure I got it right!
Sometimes it's the simple things that stump us!
