Hi, When I was thinking about buying the GTR 1400 I was told that it had a poor history for fuel consumption. 2500 miles in 10 days around France, Germany, Austria and Italy, including the Stelvio Pass, with my wife on the back and 51 MPG average using the dual mapping system, fantastic! great bike, love it! Well done Kawasaki, A Gem!
