I'm changing radiators today...what kind of coolant should I be using? 50/50? Or is there something specific I need for my 02 zx12 b1?

Mate to be honest i allway used to use normal coolant,but i changed to water wetter and i really could not beleve the differance! I did go a new radiator cap as well that holds more presure and used distiled water,the bike just loves it and doesn't get near hot under any condihion:thumbup:

50/50 would be fine for most street bikes.

i switched to water with water wetter and have noticed zero difference.

Check your radiator/radiator cap/thermostate,

Your best bet is to rid all of the old stuff buy the alan keys in the block and the plug in the water pump,fill it one time with destiled water and dump it all again then fill the bike with water wetter or the ice from motul with the write ratio and it will be sweet.MAKE sure your radiator cap is good/just get a new one that will hold more presure than standed(as when you can keep more presure it has a lot less boiling rate) at least !
