The gap on the cr9eix is 0,6mm but the manual states it should be 0,7-09 with the original plug...

Should i leave it, or re-gap it to spec ???

If this is the original plug for your bike, check the plug box that the plug comes in. It may say NOT, I repeat, NOT to regap! I noticed that the gap was slightly out of my OEM plugs and tried to regap them only to notice the warning on the box afterwards.

Before reading about the CR9EIX I replaced with OEM plugs...It was a bitch to say the least. Is it worth it to switch out to the CRs?? (please say no)...My original, 9 year old OEMs were in decent shape BTW...

i would not change them unless they were very old or (as in my case), i was going to adjust the valves anyway.

I believe the difference between the plugs is small, but the cr9eix are a lot cheaper and maybe a little bit better. So if a change is near use the cr9eix. But the oem plugs are said to last 100.000 miles in automobiles :)
