Most arm builders offer a cheater arm for bikes that is between 1 & 1/2 to three inches, then a 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 inch extension. Most people will want to run a specific class, therefore either keeping it close to 60 or 68 inch if at all possible. Depends on the bike that way. I am sure most would opt for an adjustable if at all possible.

BTW, I have a 6 over which seems to one of the more popular lengths. I ride it on the street and at the track no problems. I really want an adjustable one so I can run 60 inch class, then out to about 6-8 over for my "best ET" runs.

1270 here too. I run the Shinko most of the time since I'm too lazy to swap out the rim and tire for my "street" BT010 every time I want to ride it.

Matter of fact, I have a M/T mounted on my extra rim and I was going to try and compare the Shinko in back to back runs one night. Maybe that will let me know which one works better at 6 over......
