what year did they change body styles

There have been many subtle changes, but I think most would agree that the 2000 - 2001 models are similar, & the 2002s and up are the new body style...

If you're not sure what year it is, you can run the VIN # @ kawasaki.com & it'll tell you the year, & whether all the recall work has been done... (Few simple free fixes... nothing Earth-shattering...)

if you do not ride like you want to be in jail it could get 38 to 42 mpg if it is stock. when mine was stock it got the above milage.
