One of those threads it was confirmed that the fuel pump was tested at 6 PSI on the bench. The filters were left in the bike, pump replaced, solved the problem. Not sure where you are getting that the sending unit cannot be dissassembled and a new pump installed. :headscratch:

One.of the threads the whole assembly was replaced. Others, pump was replaced. Problem went away. That is confirmation is it not?
That post never confirms fuel pump failure again. YOU CAN ONLY BUY THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY FROM KHI. They do not offer just the filter nor do they offer just the pump. Start those treads back up ask the OP what exactly was replaced. Have a look at the online parts fitch. I've gone through several B models and have experienced this issue several times it has always ended the same. FUEL FILTER WAS CULPRIT.

I follow this forum and don't say much. I've read most your posts and I usually agree with you or at least see your point. This time you are dead wrong and I'm basing this on my experience on this exact issue. You sir have no personal experience with this so how can you even have a leg to stand on here you are only assuming. You what that results in except it only effects you.

I am aware KHI only sells complete assemblies. That is why they get $540+ for a new "pump". You do not have to go this route however. I have changed out hundreds of fuel pumps in my time. Not on my bike, yet, but you can indeed disassemble the sending unit, and replace just the pump, with an aftermarket pump. It had to go together at some point, didn't it? It can also come apart. Are people buying an aftermarket fuel pump as a complete assembly for a fraction of the cost? No. They are replacing the electric motor portion of the whole assembly.

They do not list a pressure regulator for either model either. Nor do they list a filter. Yes, I assume these people went with an aftermarket option, because it is far cheaper, and replaced just the pump. Yes, I said assume. Could the one with 6PSI been just the Kaw mechanic shooting for a sale? Sure. Could it have been a faulty pressure regulator? Dunno.

good luck, looks like you have it all figured out lol

Here is another example besides Walbro for a replacement pump for a ZX12R

Intank Fuel Pump 2000-2005 Kawasaki ZX12R ZX-12R ZX1200 ZX12 49040-1067

You can indeed simply replace the pump, and retain the assembly. If you do as such, and the initial problem goes away, it is safe to assume that there is no obstruction of the fuel filter, nor is the regulator faulty. Why would I need to take apart a 12R specifically to have had enough "experience" with this particular issue when just about every fuel injected vehicle is essentially the same? Even when they say you need the entire sending unit, I laugh and use a universal pump, so long as it fits, and all is well. Done it hundreds of times.....

The problem is my12er ,you try to come across as a total know it all and even basically told Mark to leave this thread because he didn't have an issue with his bike ... you make this thread after hours of trying to be a fucking know it all and it has FAILED as you have never had an issue with one your self . You sir are a fucking idiot !

Prove this statement. Who's comment did I twist? What am I twisting to suit my needs here? I clarified it in a couple posts back why I said keeping it submerged is your best best to keep it cool. Did that just for you even. Are you still only reading the small words? :squint:
You twist YOUR owen comments dude then just drift off with dribble :tard:

PS i am over your cock sucking thread dude lol .

i really dont have time to go into detail, but your "facts" are not all correct. im out, good luck. for everyone else reading, dont take anyones word too seriously on the net unless they can back it up.
my12r, you know enough to think you know it all on this topic, but you clearly dont.

Brass tacks is this. The thread was started with the intention to bring to some folks attention that perhaps they may want to rethink their fuel refilling strategy, if they had suffered a fuel pump failure. Instead, I gotta deal with all the fucktard nutswingers who got no brains in their own heads to form their own valid arguments or opinions on jack shit. Then, I have the accusers who cannot stand when someone contradicts them, or points out an err in their thought process. Arrogance is a bitch like that. You get your ego stroked enough, it happens. That is for a different thread. Then, all of these accusations and assumptions. I have been a motorcycle AND automotive AND diesel technician for over 30 years. I have been in the repair segment tho, and have not really dug very deep into the high performance side. You can assume all you want, but I been repairing engines longer than some of you have been on this planet. Fairly successfully I might add. I don't need ego strokes from any of ya, but it does get irritating when I come across knuckleheads who get all bent outta shape because you catch them in some shit. Plus, I study psychology on the side, as well as medicine so, it does get kinda fun for me to challenge people to actually use their own brains. It's sad when they elect to just resort to anger and bullying. Very sad. It is also sad when someone puts forth a suggestion, and cannot back it up.

You tell me to substantiate my claims here. I have put it out there, as I see it. Should these "people" you are talking to to take things with a grain simply take your word for it because you know how to build an engine and toss boost at it? Somehow that make you all knowledgable? I think not sir. You cannot request that I back up my statements, but you don't have to do the same. That is not playing fair in a debate. That is what children do. "I know you are but what am I?"....form a thought, pose a valid argument, or shut the hell up. It does me no here nor there to worry about internet noteriety. My suggestions have HELPED more people here than harmed. I have helped many solve issues with their machines, and learned a few things about my own.

And you call me the tard. Psht.

No this thread was out to make you "look" like a know it all ! You know shit and thats it google :king:

When are you actually gonna go away so the rest of us can have a debate? You keep lying like this, I'm not sure you gonna retain much credibility...
