Hey all, after a week of lurking around looking for parts, info, pictures, and etc. I got to bring home my 2003 ZX12 yesterday! Fun bike and runs like a bat out of hell. Only issues: Previous 2 owners didn't treat her very well and now she's in need of some cosmetic work. Full new set of fairings, mirrors, windscreen, under tail piece seeing as how its broken.
However she came with a few goodies:
-Stretched (Yeah, i know. Bleh)
-Lowered two inches in the rear and has Brocks lowering straps in the front.
-Aftermarket sprocket. Front: 15T / Rear: 49R
-Jardine slip-on.
Thought I'd start here in trying to find some parts I need before I have the thought of paying outrageous OEM costs. Plan on completely overhauling it this summer. new color, powder coat the wheels, some carbon fiber goodies, new seats, a Muzzy exhaust, and a few other gadgets.
The good side lol, other has lots of rash and cracking.
Things I'm in need of:
I have found aftermarket fairings and mirrors. However, i'd like to try my luck with you before I shell out $500 for aftermarket fairings that my or may not fit.
Also i'd like to gauge a few ideas. Curious on the best places to buy parts and the websites to get them from? I've used Revzilla for 95% of everything I did to my 650 and love their service and pricing, and used Motorcycle-Superstore a time or two. However I'm having a hard time trying to find websites that have large ZX12 sections. Anyone have good suggestions?

- MUST be in good condition. Looking for another stock tank cover so i can have it taken to my painter to get color matched once I get my new fairings. Unless someone has a black one they're willing to sell.
- New mirrors. MUST be in good condition.
- Speedo healer. If someone could point me to a place where I can buy that would be greatly appreciated. Rolling back home at 75mph yesterday and the speedometer said 115mph.:tard: [PENDING PURCHASE]
- Shorty levers, last owner thought it would be cool to chop the OEM levers in half and now its hard to keep ahold of them.
- Right side, ram intake tube. One corner is broken and wont connect to the cowling anymore.
- New passenger seat unless someone can point me to a place where I can buy seat covers. I was going to buy a nice set from Motorcycle Superstore but they're out of stock.
