HUBZ:
Where do you get this stuff from...

I've been a maintenence tech for 14+ years, been riding / racing bikes and cars for 30+ years, and most of your post would be news to me.

In a racing application crankcase is vented to atmo, with the exception of very (VERY) high hp applications, in which case you run an evac pump on the crankcase to pull the pressure out from under the pistons, free up some pumping losses, save some seals.

You dont run spent fumes / gasses back into the incoming charge. EVER (in racing). That would dilute the incoming charge, reducing power.

Plumbing spent gasses / fumes back to the intake side is an emissions only thing. Cut down on oxides of nitrogen formation, *if* I understand the theory correctly.

Racers also do NOT drill holes in the underside of the exhaust headers... that is an exhaust leak, it lets cold ambient air get sucked in by the negative pressure wave and will "burn" the exhaust valve.
It can also dilute the amplitude of the pressure wave in the primary tube, thereby reducing scavenging (again hurting performance).

(walks away shaking head)
...where do you guys get this stuff.
