Getting a yoshi Rs-3 for the 12 and while reading the directions which I normally wouldnt do, it stated to install a muffler gasket in between the yoshi can and the midpipe. I know about the gaskets between the header and the actual engine but was not aware of one between the can and the midpipe.:headscratch:

Anybody have any idea where to get this muffler gasket from? Didnt put one on with my Jardine but some old post on this forum (2003) where customers bought the rs-3 were all saying the same thing.

Any yoshi slip on owners feel free to chime in on what you did with yours.

Ok, thanks, Im not even sure if it has one on the stock midpipe as I bought it used. My bike came with a akra system on it, too quite:thumbdown:

I havent had any problems from the Jardine so theres probably one on it but just to make sure, what does it look like? Big paper like looking hard thing sitting flush with the flange on the midpipe?

Do you still have the "too quiet" system that came with the bike?
Naw, sold it on the forum late last year for $300, Akra full SS system. Used the funds to get a custom undertail exhaust made. Took that off cuz the wife said she wanted to ride on the back more often (clearance issues). Now she doesnt want to ride on the bike because she doesnt like turns on a sportbike. Cant please em!
