My insurance rates went down this year. $65 for state minimums for a full year...$235 for full coverage on the ol' 12R for a full year...:crazyloco:

Pays to have a squeaky clean driving record and a good running policy.

I use Dairyland Cycle.

I get a 6 month pro-rated policy, due to location. If I paid full price, it'd be close to $700 before discounts full coverage. The seasonal discount cuts it in half, safe driver is a notch off evil, running policy is another, paid in full is another, stored in a garage is another.... If I paid it over the 4 months allotted time frame it'd be close to $375 full coverage for a year.

When I started the policy on the 12 back in 2008, it was $380 minimum liability for a year and $1,800 full coverage.

Ya, that seasonal discount is a nice chunk off tho.

Contrasted against the 1981 LTD750 I used to ride: $45 minimum liability for a year and $95 full coverage for a year.
