to lower a bike its more for the look.none of us are on a track here so don't think that anything you do is gonna be that drastic like you read in a magazine. my bike is lowered 1 3/8 front,middle hole in rear. it is a must for the look of a 12. set backs are no more than130lbs on back,scratch up the bottom but not noticeable unless you are on top of bike or lookin under it. i pin my bike frequently and do take sharp turns at 90 and sweeping turns at 130 plus. DO IT
