When you go to the SS lines you will be eliminating the stock crossover block, here is some pics of what i did to keep the lines retained and routed safely, they can still move but are secure to where they will not rub on anything

I made spacers out of aluminum to keep the little plastic flap thing and used rubber lined clamps. You can also buy generic spacers at the hardware store and trim them to fit.

hmm :? :? :?
not really sure what is does beside provide a little bit of extra protection from road debris and water, if you look at it from underneath and have someone turn the bars it kinda gives ya an idea what it does, whether it is really necessary tho i don't know

For the big hole in the airbox, use an expandable plug, for extra measure i put a cap over it. for the 2 hoses going back use a 6mm bolt with the original crush washers. A very small amount of blue loctite is good there too.I went ahead and changed all of the bolts to cap screws using the original crush washers because of that damn coolant pipe   makes them easier to get out when its time to sync the carbs Ive got a ton of the plugs for the airbox laying around if anyone needs one PM me and Ill hook ya up

EDIT: as for the block off plate I just used the copper pipe as posted above,I installed it then marked it and put a piece of shrink over the exposed area just so I would not have to worry about it getting oxidized
