Hey ship how are you?
Where heading up soon, bringing a Busa and a 1000
going for a couple of records.
We are going to spank you with the little ZX10 first
See ya soon.
Sal.

----Well well well  if it ain the king of the 9/10 himself, good ol Mr. Icey! I hope you guys ACTUALLY SHOW UP this time, you know Phantom was talking with them BIG lungs and I musta missed him @ Maxton  The little ZX-10? Psh....really? The one that showed to be

WORST than the BUSA, gixxer 1000, AND the ZX-14 in the wind tunnel???

I wish you the best of luck sir  According to my calculations your bike will have approx 100 lbs advantage stock for stock. I'm willing to bet I have a good 30 lbs advangtage over you mono e mono. That takes it down to about 70 lbs. I'll negate the magnesium wheels with what I'm sure are light OEM zx10 wheels.

70 lbs advantage....but are you really making 215 RWHP on that n/a 10? I'm assuming stock bore, so that would be a definitive

NO

And for the record, I sent Phantom the word that I will be heading out to your neck of the woods last week of December, hopefully you guys will be around, we can run bottles or no bottles

I've put it all out on the table Senior Freeyo, you know my mph will be in the low 200s....and I know that 10 just did 198 so ... 200 @ Maxton.....but 203 mph? Come ON!!!!

I'LL SAY IT HERE AND NOW: AIN'T NO WAY A STOCK DISPLACEMENT NATURALLY ASPIRATED 10R IS GOING TO BEAT ME ON MY 12 ON SPRAY. I know you have tons of experience doing this and have been doing it since before I was street racing mopeds and you can holeshot like a MAFACKA......but nah ... IT AIN'T happening.....

....now that 1340whatever cc busa....n/a....yeah I see it. You're a hell of a tuner and I saw one run 205.9 @ Bonneville, same cat who out mphed me by 2 mph @ Maxton in April. But an n/a, stock bore 10? NO WAY! You ain't THAT good....and IF YOU ARE....well I guess I know where I'm sending my bike this Winter for the wet kit!

See you @ Maxton.......MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHA

198 = 200 @ Maxton. I'm shooting for 203, I'm sure no better than 204. You must GAIN 3mph Ice, you know just adding "a couple" up top can be one of the hardest things to do out there.

Also, whereas my bike is just kinda tuned, yours is specifically tuned .... for FL  I'm sure it'll call for some sorta remapping, which you can do while doing your license passes....

But you're gonna have to make 4 license passes just to get to the 200+ level! That takes TIME! And just because you have done it once before doesn't mean it can be done your first balls out time.

Better pray for a tailwind  See you and the boys out there next weekend. Who all IS coming from 9/10?

Its nothing both Ice and I don't already know. Iceman seems like a stand-up guy, I look forward to meeting up with him @ Maxton and 9/10 later this year. I know he's one real world tuning SOB! almost 200 mph out of an n/a literbike (I'll presume stock displacement too, albeit with a milled head  ) I have a tremendous amount of respect for him....

I'm looking very forward to our runs. I'm glad he's coming out from the underground and putting his craft out in the sunshine for the world to see. He's one fast cat...who knows....maybe he'll even need some super-ultra-lightweight cat to do some "test" runs .... someone who may even have their A license....

Man o man, supertuner or not no one is gonna let me live it down if he out MPHs me @ Maxton...not even myself!

Ice, a few things

1) Whats w/the weak ass 20 shot? Do you think a 40 or even a 30 will put that much stress on it? I do realize it is a smaller motor and may not be as durable/sturdy as a bigger motor like the 12. FYI there was a guy last year spraying his 10, 40 shot....jeez maybe 60 I can't remember, down from around here in MD. He popped it.

2) So you're talking about DEEZUHL's bike. With HIM piloting it you think he'll do those numbers? Just from the dialogue going back and forth he doesn't exactly sound lightweight

Good luck! 203 NA would be right on par with the 1427cc zx12 that ran in april with me. 100 lbs vs 400ccs, though not impossible, that would really be impressive. It shows that its about the whole package, not just the rider weight, the bike weight, the hp, etc. Holla if you need anything...and the offer still stands...you have a bit of trouble getting all the way tucked and need a jockey just holler @ you know who

130 eh? Heh heh heh heh....Deezuhls a big boy! Looks like you have your work cut out for you. As far as nos runs I'm bringing a 10 lb mother bottle and 2 2.5s I'll keep on rotation. So far thats been a pretty good estimate in terms of number of runs. Give or take......

Also, this december, if Deezuhl doesn't mind, I'd like to run the 130 lb guy (as well as others of course) on Deezuhls bike in the 9/10. He should pull on me but I think it will REALLY nail the point home for most of us who don't do this all day long what a 100 lb lighter bike really does when trying to isolate all the variables (= rider weight, approx = HP, etc) Of course on camera

Hope so! You know I have nothing but love for the gixxers....but the busas.... :?

Iceman got 8 or 9 records  , made it into the 200 mph club, ran 205 n/a to my 202.9 on spray w/a mishift :? ...

ran 208 on light spray to my 202.7 on spray w/another mis-shift :x :x

I am heading down to the 9/10 this December to play in their playground now

You're right about that! We have a bit of time, I may get one of those electric or air shifter thingies. Never liked the idea of them but with the 12's long throw mis-shifts are more likely than the smaller bikes. Rest assured any add'l mods will be mentioned. Not a fan of BSing about what I have and haven't done to my bike, there won't be any surprises. There is a difference between racing for money and racing for the sheer pleasure of it and trying to get really even match-ups.
