OK a few guys are askign me this so I'll just start a new thread.
I have the Nikko racing speed de-restrictor on my 2005 zx-12r. The bike no longer tops out at 186. It does not modify maps or any garbage that will make the bike run funky. Here is the Link, and it's a 2 second install. I ordered it from france, and it actually came in under a week. I took a gamble with the translation but i guess i did ok.

This thing is specific to the 2005 model, although they have them for other models. The 2005 model is less expensive b/c it its not restricted like other year zx12's. I have the manual at home in the garage explaining exactly what it does, but it does not alter the fuel or ignition map in 6th gear. It just removes an electronic limiter. And the electronic limiter is specific to the 2005 model year... And yes, it works, so now i need a speedo that goes higher than 186 so i know how fast i'm going. any more questions feel free to ask, this is an excellent product.
