I have the factory Titanium exhaust and only part of it is turning bluish purple. Its changing on the little strip where it says Titanium. Im not in the position right now to upgrade the exhaust and I would like for it to either all change colors or fix the part where it changed to blue, back. Ive searched and:banghead: I cant really find any info. Any tips?

I really wouldn't mind if it all turned blue but it only seems to appear in the one area. Thanks for the tips everyone.

Thanks rundog. I will have to give it a try. I guess worse comes to worse I end up with an excuse to buy a new can.

As to the OP and his "bluing" of exhaust, this is, as stated, due to excess heat. Check that you aren't running a lean condition to begin with, as this is a hint that your are. A properly fueled motor won't blue exhaust pipes...most times. Lean = heat...more power too in some situations.

My12r thanks. I actually have it at the shop getting the valves adjusted. I bought it about 2 weeks ago with 11,800 miles. The previous 2 owners never had the valves checked.

Well. Its not the valves. The shop said they were all with in spec and almost perfect. I guess its just the heat. I'll just polish it out for now.
