I recently picked up a 1990 klr 250..what a great lil bike.. I had a 1996 cr250r and a 1985 bw200 but they where stolen

The KLR 250 is a very capable unit!! That bike should be loads of fun on the trails & fire roads... The added bonus is that you don't need any trailer or extra bother to get to the fun!! :thumbup::thumbup:

I replaced the original front tire (knobs were falling off from dry-rot) on my '99 WR-400F back in 2011, and it hasn't been out since. The rear tire has one ride on it. I think I ran it up the street in early 2012, but nothing since.

Used to ride 3-4 times a year at Turkey Bay. The boys lost interest in riding and the street bikes get more seat time.

Tried to get a plate for it, but county denied me and said to contact the state.

I had been looking at the KTM and Husky dual sports. hno:

This dirtbike comparo is a few years old, but it's a quick read with some good points... Both the KTM & Hoosky are excellent IMHO!! :thumbup::thumbup:

Well, it's still in my stable... But riding is a pretty strong word... Between various projects, stoopid weather patterns, wifey having to go in for surgeries, and countless other bullshit... Embarrassingly, I am NOT riding enough of any of the bikes these days... :angry::angry:

But, yes to answer your question, I loves me that Husky unit!! If it counts, I started it and putted around the yard a coupla weeks ago... :thumbup::thumbup:
