85 MPH, I think I hit some rubber that seals the concrete joints on I90. Felt it with the front end saw something fling off the LH side and BOOM!

I've destroyed a case on a dirtbike before - what kind of damage has everyone else seen with losing a chain on a ZX-12? How often does it break the case.
I'm soooooo pissed. I haven't put 100 miles on this bike - and I've wanted Mike's (1slomofo) bike since '03 - hopefully I have it under full coverage, can't remember what I did. Now it's all fucked up. DAMMIT!
Guess it could have been worse, could have wrapped around the wheel and I'd be shredded beef on those stupid wire/pole guardrails.
