I had the HPX's on my 00. I agree with Millsi when you get out on the edge they get a bit unpredictable and they will surprise/scare you. Mostly with the rear stepping out when you are not expecting it. Also like it has been said they do take a bit longer to warm up. Some times they would feel like they are warm when they were not and it would slide. I only found this to be true when i was out with Outlaw & Ninjadude and pushing them pretty hard.  Milage was great when rob and norm were averging 1500-2000 miles out of their softer tires i got about 6000 out of my rear. And thats not being nice to them. The hpx's are a harder compound than the reg pilot sports. That being said i do have 1 word of advice if you get caught out in the rain, BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!! Most peeps don't even think about wet wether performance. Wich is cool cause most peeps don't willingly ride in the rain. But sooner or later you will get caught out. And when you do the hpx's are down right scarry!

Don't get me wrong im not trying to slam the hpx's. All in all they are a good tire with great mileage. Its just been my experience that the last 5-6% is where things get a little ugly.
