Welcome Free!
Tank range is piss poor, you'll just have to get used to it. I couldn't get 130miles from a tank if it were all downhill!
PC can help smooth the lower end of the throttle out, but not a lot. Your wrist will learn to be subtle, or ride in town using clutch control. On / off throttle in 1st gear in UK traffic and it will lurch around.
I've just put on a new chain and sprockets. Chain is at the tight end of recommended slack and the bike has been much smoother.
Personally, I wouldn't hurry to get a full system. The bike is already has way more power that you can use on our roads. It won't help the fuel economy and used systems are still serious money.
If it still has a 200/50 rear tyre, consider a 190/55 when you change it.

Enjoy it!
