I tried twice to sell my bike in trader and both times I didn't get 1 call. (price was fair). So I decided to keep it and dumped a bunch of cash into it and now she's my project. Happy I kept it. But I dont think there a big demand for these big bores. Many Suzuki and Kaw dealerships dont even keep their flagship bike in the showroom as they only sell 1-2 a year max.
The sales guy at Suzuki said the market is small for these bikes and that the typical prospective busa/zx owner would rather shell out the extra 3000$ and get one new. And that some one who brings in a Busa/zx for trade in will get low balled cause the dealer is gonna sit on the machine for a long time and hardly turn a profit on resale. If all this is true one should be able to get a used zx at particularly low price.Anyone else here have a hard time selling your big bore?
