When I had mine lowered to the center hole of Spencers links,
I had 1" cut off my stand. It worked perfect and only cost me $10 :wink:

 

Thanks Mark, Dave Galbiati set me up with a nice stock 12R kickstand.

Measure twice and cut once :lol:

 

8) I raised my bike back up and I guess I gave the short stand away..
I was never paid for it anyways :?

The welder cut one inch and welded a slightly larger foor plate on mine,
like I said ...worked perfect

I shortened the kickstand by the same amount that I lowered my ZX9R and it works great. In other words, the bike has been lowered 1.5", and the kickstand was cut 1.5". It looks completely stock and is significantly cheaper then buying one of the adjustable stands. Good Luck!!
