I just bought a '06 10R and cannot pick it up for a while but wondered if I should get some SS braided front brake lines on the way for it, or if it already has them?
Thanks!

I can only speak from what I have read in reviews. Kawasaki actually uses a softer break line so that novice users do not kill themselves under hard breaking. I understand their point of view but I also can't help but get mad at them for that. If I am such a novice that I don't know what would happen if I grab a handful of break leaver at a high rate of speed then I should be driving a 250. When you spend over 10K on sportbike you should get the best technology they can afford to include and to neuter any part of that bike on purpose is not right. So to answer your question I would say yes SS is better then stock if you are planning to due some hard riding. I have not done it to my 07 but then again I have few places around here I can really work out the brakes to make a difference. Remember this is just what I have read from a couple reliable reviews and not my personal experience. I hope that helps.
