how much for left and right lower fairings with hardware and winglets? do you still have the black/gold ones pictured on the bike? I'm not sure if they'll bolt up directly to my 01, do you know?

Yes they will fit perfectly. You can take anything from a 2000 model (I'm not sure about the ECU computer) and it will fit like a glove on the 2001 model.
I hardly have anything for 2000-2001 models but in about a month I'm getting off the market plastics from China and I'll sell the originals. Check with me then, or better yet check my pictures. I'll let you guys know everytime I'll post new pictures in my picasa album.

2. the rear tire - here's a detailed explanation I gave someone about it, approx. a month ago:
"That rear tire you see in the album pictures is a DUNLOP Q2 Sportmax REAR Tire 200/50-ZR-17. If I'm not mistaken this a race tire. I used for about 2 hours while riding from Greenville SC to Lawrenceville GA because the bearing in my original rear rim has gone bad and this tire was mounted on a 2nd rim I had, with good bearings, and was available to me...long story short - it has 127 highway miles on it - $ 150.00"

Yeah, I agree that 2000-2001 mirrors look like they were pulled right off of a Ford 350, but they are the safest.
I have a pair of pig spotters on mine and they look good and everything but can't spot shit...unless it's within feet of you. I constantly have to turn around and look behind me.

I guess your mirrors are safe until next month. Most people here are looking for handouts, ... AND, I got another pair to spare
