Sounds like someone is going to be a busy guy! We are all pulling for everything to go right for you. Sounds like you are going to be using every spare minute before track time getting stuff ready.
AMEN!! That is exactly why I no longer do this type of thing! It takes waay too much out of me! My other problem is If I want to do something, then I cannot stand not to do it either

Any updates?
Sunday I set up the heater Blanket for the NOS Bottle and changed switches (Screws as opposed to Slip on connectors) for the Power. I also mounted the tail section and installed a tail light with a license Plate to go Riding when the pistons arrive.

Last Tuesday I decided to get the cams degreed and could not get them to specs. About 106 lobe center for the Exhaust and about 112 for the intake. After trying everything I finally took the head back off and saw that the valves were not even touching the modelers clay. The pockest were deep enough but not cut back far enough. So at 1:30 AM Wednesday Morning I send CP an e-mail and let them know the problem.

(Let me say right here, the difference between CP and JE is CP was ignorance and JE was Arrogrance)

About 7:30 California time, CP Calls me and lets me know that they have figured out what they did wrong (First time anyone I have been dealing with for any bike parts has ever done this!). They say that they cannot fly cut the pistons and they will have to make new ones. They give me their UPS Number and I red Label the pistons back to them. They tell me that it will take about a week to do. (Remember I am a customer spending a few Hunderd dollars then they have people spending many thousands! But they stop to do this for me. Remember, they did this in a few weeks to begin with when no one else would step up to the plate. WHen I spoke to them last Friday, they were "Making" the pistons as we were speaking. Best case scenario I could have them by Tuesday or Wednesday and take the rest of the week off and get this done. You know the worse case!

Again, this is the #1 reason I stopped racing! I am too old and tired to be up to 2 am in the morning working on a race engine period! When I get this done, I am not going to work on anyone's engine until Bear Racing sends me a bolt on tested Kit uning the Rotrex Supercharger!

Sounds like CP is for Customer Priority. Glad to hear that they have that approach. People like you really help get the word out (good or bad). Glad to hear they aren't just about the big sales!

AMEN To that! If not for them, my racing would have been over this year because Mahle would not be able to make some pistons until the end of the year!

He's posted recently here.

The CP pistons he ordered arrived with the valve cutouts wrong, although in all other regards appearing superior in quality to JE in his opinion, which I take seriously. CP worked quickly to provide him with replacement pistons but so little time was left that Mr Hill was unable to meet his deadline, unfortunately.

The new pistons arrived, the bike is together, and all is well other than being too late, if I have everything correct.

Zackly what happened! The bike is running excellent and will have it broken in this weekend and next week on the Dyno to tune it and then check everything and pack it up for Maxton 10/30/04

I am a Sweety Pie, If you do not believe me, "ASK ME"!!

Hey dudes not to be yoking on Mr Hill d--- or anything but i talked with the guru of motorcyle knowledge and just wanted to give you guys the wink  and the gun on Mr Hill. This guy amazed me for about 40 min of pure zx12 talk and i learned so much and got some good ideas about what he has done, trying to do, and how he gets it done. I know most of you guys on the board already know this but i had to share my personal experience on who this Mr hill guy was from my opinion.

ANd Vincent if you ever leave this board i am sure that me and some of the other members agree that we wold have to take you out because your knowlege of the force is to vast and we hate for you to turn to the dark side(suzuki)

Thansk for your time today and keep up with the many post :D

WOW!! My Wife needs to meet this guy also :D The Problem is with her is I do not think she is talking about Motorcycles when she says that "I am still one fast Old Man"! :D:D

Bishop, what you said is appreciated and just the same way people took time when I had a lack of Knowledge, I "TRY" to do the same thing. I knew "ZERO" or less about Computers and programing them when I bought my ZX12. It was others on these same Boards that gave me their information which allowed me to learn along whith what I already knew. That is why I make the statement "I Have no Secrets"!! I hate it when the factory has or is doing something that I cannot do or know. Everyone here has seen every part of my bike and what I have done to it or with it. Now if it really goes fast, "THEN" it will mean something!

"Po" People (I cannot even afford both "o's" let alone the "r") do not have money for "Digital" cameras! I barely Had the money for one that used "Tape"! I do have everything on "Tape" but cannot post it!

My Digital Camera does take "Movies" and has a telephoto lens, so maybe the Videographer (Peggy) will take one run (If things go right) and WHo know about that?

Mr. Hill, you should write some books or something!
You've got some knowledge Sir!
(Just readin some of your recent posts on the "210" thread)

I'm rootin' for ya to get way past 200. Good Luck 8)

You guys are sort of ahead of things. Easy has already offered me space to document my Bike once I have done everything I think is necessary and post about it with pictures. So Thanks to Easy Rider, you may see and hear enough to have had too much!

Hopefully when I have done all I can with the bike the way it is, then I have another project I am planning! "Some People are just never satisfied" And No it will not be a Turbo either but of course is "MUST" Be faster without spending a ton of money! (Maybe 400 to 500 HP for about $5,000 "TOTAL"
