bigsaint, did you use a hairdryer to take off them off?

 

I started out with a hair dryer, and then I just peeled the Ninja stickers off.
A hair dryer would probally help in the cold weather.
Kawasaki letters were easy to pull off, one at a time.

Freakin' bandwith horseshit again, they did work, I will try to fix 'em now :roll: . I need a good host site that doesn't downsize the pics., change the url or run outta bandwith :twisted: .

I used a heat gun ( very carefully mind you). I blew up my wifes last hair dryer while shrink wrapping a bunch of connections on the truck. Wife made me buy her a new one and me a heat gun. I am no longer allowed to use the hair dryer in my household :shock: :wink: .

The "ZX-12R" decals came off real easy, the "Ninja" decals were a bit tougher, left alot of glue that I removed with lighter fluid. Then I waxed it twice.

LOL, me neither, my hair is dry by the time my feet exit the shower. They just don't seem to hold up very well to extended shrink wrap sessions :shock:

The stickerless look is cleaner!!!...But I like the OEM look, still have the parachute too!!!

Honda pro cleaner will remove all the residue and not hurt the paint... Also cleans everything under the sun... From plastics to anything pretty much...

 

No stickers or any other identifying marks on my bike. I like to leave em guessing. I just need to find a way to take that Yoshimura billboard off my can.

 

I like the OEM look, to a point. The mud flap had to go though.

Richard, must be something with that Honda cleaner, you are about the 10th person to tell me about it. I'll have to try it someday. The paint didn't seem to suffer with the lighter fluid, but it didn't thrill me to use it.

Honda Pro Cleaner is a great product.
I also use Meguirs Mist Wax (Touch Up or something like that)

But what I like to use, especially on the front for bugs, is
window cleaner, the type in the aerosal can,
it works very good for me.

 

If you can't find the Honda cleaner, try Plexxus plastic polish. Its some good shit.
