Hi

Hope you are all well .

So I did the Kleen air mod . Bike is running pants on tick over .Basically it is like riding a bucking bronko. I had a zx12 around 6 years ago and did the same mod had no issues at all. . As mentioned in another post the thread I was following on the kleen air removal has now suddenly disappeared off the net . However it's quite an easy mod to remember . Am going to take another look and make sure the holes are fully bunged up on both sides of airbox/ frame . Is there anything else I should be looking out for ? I have read that you can leave the crank case breather attached to the bottom of the airbox / frame and then buy some block of plates for the top of the engine . Is this a better option. Cheers

So the clutch is slipping like a good one . Am guessing it's just new clutch plates etc . Or could it be an other issue .

Thanks again from the UK

Hi so here are some pics of my mod . Thoughts please if this is correct . Not sure what vac pipes am looking for . Checked holes I have bunged up . All seem good . Question is it better option to reattach the crank breather to airbox / frame and buy some plates to cover the 2 holes on top of engine ?

Hi . Well am stumped . Tried 2 things today . Put the crank pipe back in position ....back end of the frame . Them joined the 2 plate holes up with origanal pipes and a piece in the middle joining them. Blocked the hole top right of frame and then blocked off the small pipe that goes to carbs . Still not ticking over correctly .Then basically put the kleen air back to the original position ....again still not ticking over . Not sure what to do next . Was thinking block off plates but basically already sort of done that with joining them . Thoughts . I did this mod on last bike with no issue at all . Had a blue flame exhaust this one has a Yochashima...that the only visable difference . It's going off one of the pots . Could it be bad plugs . Could it be bad fuel . Thoughts please

So I found a leak on my end can not saying it's that but sorted it . I have now connected the 2 top plates together with hose and bunged the side of the frame and the crank pipe is in orginal position at the back of air box. I have also bunged the small carb pipe as well . Bike is running slightly better. But still not the best on idle . Sounds like one of the spark plugs is dropping so going to do that next . All the air pipe seem to be on correctlas do the connectors. Will post some pics . Going to fit some new plugs ..... might make a difference .

When you started the bike they were fine . But as they got hotter . Then then the problems started . One had signs of scorching on the white part as well. Thanks for everyone's input .
