Anyone run against the new 05 gixxer 1000. I was just wondering how they faired against each other

Yes I have. I ran Brian(GixxerBrian) who has a K5 and it's very close :!: In our particular races he pulls almost 1 bike length in the middle of 3rd gear and it stays that way til the end of 5th. If I were to shed a few pounds it would probably be dead even.

Its close im running alttle faster time on my gsxr than i did on my 10 but i have yet run side by side

I ran my buds K5 with my 12 and i'll tell you he is fast but the 12 never let him in front. :twisted:

All stock, and all i have on my 12 is a bolt-on...

oh ok thats cool i put a full yosh titanium on mine and wow it was awsome yosh said it gives it like 10-15hp pretty crazy stuff but.. uhh its also 1800$ but still good

I ran my buddies 12 with my gsxr 1000 05 and i thought i was doing good until 4th gear when he came around me

really thats crazy i have a freind with a 12 and i pull on him he has a 02 but the gsxr has a wheel base problem lol...... it just wants to wheelie non stop i got it up in 4th doing like 80 just with a little jerk on the handle bars :twisted:
