So, maybe I shouldn't make up rally names for a living . :shock:

For those not familar with last years event....Tainui, Epstein, Mrs Epstein, Native, TRC51, Mono12r, local 12r owner, and hmmmmmm....I am forgett'n someone else..anyways, we all met for a group ride last August. It was a great event so another get together has been planned. This years event looks to be bigger and better and most of us are staying for extended days.
For those interested that are not already committed, here's the dates and relative info....
August 8th,9th and 10th
Willmington Vermont
Lodging....6 rooms are reserved for rally guests at the Nordic Hills Lodge. www.nordichillslodge.com/

Now is the time to list the definate players ... if your definately going to go, sound off now so we can make sure we have enough lodging. For the early arivals(Markpmb...Voz) and any others, I called Nordic Hills, and Thursday is NO good. But...I checked out a nice place called Horizon Inn.www.horizoninn.com/ They have rooms available for $80.00/night. I will probably be staying there myself for atleast Thursday and more if we need the space at Nordic. Also...Vintage Motel in Willmington has rooms available for $65.00/night.

Well, we know I am in... the Mrs. is still an unsure though. I am only like 30-45 minutes away, so I will be in and out through the days.

I have been thinking of some routes to take, and have some ruotes in mind. Rt 100 is a great road that can take us to Rt17, from which I have heard is a fantastic road. Weather permitting, we should have some awesome rides.

Count me in for sure. I will not need any lodging though, I'm not that far away. I may be sick for work that Friday so if anyone knows roughly what time we'll be getting together please let me know. If for some reason I can't make it Friday, then I'll be there Saturday. Looking foreward to meeting all of you and having a good ride.
I would definiately recommend a ride up RT100. :lol: :lol:

Just spoke to herabout it (showed her your post), and she said she would like to go for at least one day. Not sure which on though. I am unsure if I am staying the night one of the nights or not yet though. Mono is pushing me to, but we are trying to get some work done to close on a house.... what a PITA that is. Anyway, looks like she will be along at least for Saturday.

If anyone is coming from the east, up rt 9 from Bennington/Brattlborro,
I-91 erea, the road this year is much better. Fresh pavement but still some heavy traffic late morning on. Last year the pavement was torn up and a wet layer of clay was the road surface. I did some flat track'n on the way up. :roll:

1Bad and Native. I have your numbers, but I am currently running like a mad man trying to complete some details on a house I am trying to buy. Really big PITA, but worth it.

Here's the deal. Let's talk about days and times that we think we can all make it. I think most will be showing up on Thursday night, so I would be up for a ride on Friday afternoon, say 1:00-2:00 departure time from Troy? Let me know what you think.

BTW, I will be going to Lebanon Valley Wednesday night to make some passes, but I will be running the cage. I haven't tried it in a car yet, and I am interested to see what the old Rustang will do.

BAMmono12r, As you know I am planning on riding up Saturday morning for the day. It's 175miles for me so any info on where and what time everyone is meeting that day would be appreciated I'm trying to plan the ride down so I can meet everyone before we get going. Don't everyone panic. But from what I remember Cellphones had a bit of difficulty getting service in the mountains last summer. This may have changed but you may find that here and there, you have no service.

Hey guys, we might want to confirm that the Sonoco is still there When we went to Laconia this year, I seem to remember there being a different gas station there.... or maybe I was thinking someplace else. But I would swear there is a citgo there or something like that. It's and updated has station..... I don't know. Mono, do you have any clue if I am thinking of the right spot?

Maybe I will swing out there to make sure.
